My order went through fine overall, but the FFL transfer part was kind of slow and a little confusing. For example, the FFL info took longer to get sorted than I thought it would, I wasn’t totally sure if they had received everything, and I ended up checking for updates more than once. Support did get back to me eventually, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything, but the transfer process felt a bit messy. Not terrible, just not as smooth as other parts of the order

The order itself went through fine, but I started regretting it a bit after that. I didn’t get many updates, and the status just kind of sat there for a few days, so I was left wondering if anything was actually happening or if I’d made a mistake ordering.

I did email them and they replied, which made me feel a little better, and the order eventually showed up in good condition. Still, I wish the shipping updates had been clearer from the start because I don’t love having to chase down basic info after spending my money.

I ordered a part that was listed as in stock, but this is where it got annoying — after placing the order, I was told it was actually backordered. The refund went through fine, so no issue there, but it was still frustrating since I thought the part was available when I bought it...

I was expecting the shipping to be a lot more, but it ended up being really fair. Definitely better than most places I’ve ordered from, which was a NICE surprise.

I wasn’t in a huge rush for this, so I kind of just set it aside when it arrived and opened it later. The packaging had a little scuffing and wear on it, but nothing that really worried me. Once I got everything out, the actual item looked good and matched the listing. It wasn’t absolutely perfect, but the condition was solid overall. I’m happy with it and would order from them again.

My order showed up exactly when the tracking said it would, which I really appreciated. The updates were clear the whole way, and the delivery timing was right on the money.

I had a couple things end up on backorder and decided to cancel one of them. i was kind of expecting it to be a whole thing, but support just handled it without any hassle. The refund came through quick too. I mean, the stock situation wasn’t ideal, but they were fair about it, so yeah... 5 stars from me.

I gave this 4 stars because my order actually came with the right items and nothing was missing. I’ll admit I was kind of second-guessing it at first since I’ve had mix-ups with other sites before, but this one was packed correctly. I reached out to customer service about this one question I had, and they got back to me fast. They helped sort that out without making it a big thing, so overall it was a smooth experience.

I had a good experience using shootingsurplus.com. It wasn’t one of those sites where you click a menu, then another menu, then end up lost on some random page, like when you’re trying to find ammo, accessories, parts, or even just basic gear and everything feels buried. The menus were simple enough, and I was able to find what I was looking for without a bunch of extra clicking around. The search worked well too, though a few of the filters could be clearer, like category, brand, price range, availability, that kind of thing. It also loaded fine on my phone, which is nice because some sites get weird on mobile with tiny buttons, slow pages, pop-ups, menus that won’t close, stuff like that. Checkout was straightforward and didn’t feel confusing or overly complicated. Overall, not perfect, but definitely easier to use than a lot of other shopping sites I’ve dealt with

I ordered this on Monday and it was already at my door by Thursday, which surprised me. I was expecting to wait a lot longer, so that was a nice little win. Fast shipping always makes me happy. Anyway, I’m thrilled and slightly suspicious of how quick that was.

I thought the prices were solid, and even with shipping added on it still felt reasonable. I know some people might nitpick, but for what I paid, it made sense to me.

They do have a good selection overall, but just a heads up, some of the things I needed were out of stock when I went. It’s not a bad place to shop, but I’d recommend checking ahead if you’re looking for something specific

Checkout was easy overall. I do wish the shipping cost had shown up a little earlier in the process, but to be fair, everything else was straightforward and I didn’t run into any real problems.

I ended up ordering the wrong part by mistake, which was totally on me. My brother actually pointed it out after it arrived, so I had to start a return. The instructions were easy enough to follow, but I did have to wait a bit before getting a reply.
Once they received the item back, the refund went through without any real problems. It wasn’t immediate, but it only took a few business days, which seems normal for this kind of thing.

I’m giving 4 stars mainly because the communication could’ve been a little faster. Still, everything worked out in the end, and I’d probably order from them again.
